The Gospel from the neighborhood to the nations

Our mission to make disciples starts in our local community. We desire to make Jesus known to our neighbors and to the nations.

In partnership with The Hope House of Central Louisiana, this ministry's purpose is to share God's love and hope by providing a Christian support system and accountability to families in transitional seasons. This ministry helps support these families financially, with transportation, finding housing, and access to food pantries or freezer meals.

So that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God,  being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, so that you may have great endurance and patience, joyfully, giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.

Colossians 1:10-12

The location of our campus gives us a unique opportunity to interact with truck drivers from all over the country. At the back of our parking lot, there is a specific building for truck drivers to come inside, have access to free showers, laundry, coffee, snacks, internet access, and a comfortable space to relax. Church members volunteer to keep this building open and running, and they are able engage with the people who come in. They have opportunity to pray for and encourage these drivers in practical ways.

As a ministry to our local community, in partnership with Mac's Fresh Market, our congregation funds, packs, and delivers groceries to families around Central Louisiana. These families are able to request this delivery through signs up in the local elementary schools. We deliver these items on a Sunday in December to provide for the holiday season. We want to represent the greatest gift given to us in Jesus, by obeying Him and following His example to care for the poor and afflicted.

For while we were still helpless, at the right time, Christ died for the ungodly. For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die.  But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:6-8
