Due to the weather forecast and our soggy fields, Upward Soccer 2012 Evaluations have been moved to

Friday, February 24 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Saturday, February 25 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Please remember:

· Evaluations are at the Kingsville Baptist Church Soccer Fields.

· Begin in the two-story building.

· It will take approximately 30 minutes.

· Players can come at any time during the scheduled evaluation time.

Deadline to register is now extended to Saturday, February 25, at evaluations.

At Kingsville Baptist Church, we are dedicated to providing a family friendly sports experience for children ages 4 years - 6th grade (Children must be 4 years old by March 1, 2012). Practices are limited to one hour per week for 12 weeks. Games are limited to one per week for 8 weeks. We strive for a positive atmosphere at practices and games. OR pick up a registration form in our church office at 3911 Monroe Hwy in Ball. Office hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

FEE INFORMATION:

The early registration cost per child for soccer is $60; after January 31, the cost is $70.

Upward shorts are optional and an additional $12. Shorts must be ordered by February 18.

Deadline for registration is February 25.

EVALUATIONS:

Evaluations are the final step in the registration process. Parents have an opportunity to see sample uniforms for sizing. Players’ skill level is evaluated. Skill level determines what team a player is on but no player will be turned away. Players do not need anything or Evaluations and Evaluations are not try outs.
Evaluations are Friday, February 24 between 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM and Saturday, February 25 between 10:00 AM – 12 noon.
Evaluations start on the first floor of the Children’s Building (2-story building). Players then move to the soccer fields where evaluations are completed.

UNIFORMS:

The registration fee includes a jersey and socks. Shorts are offered separately to keep families' cost down. Players can wear any shorts. Upward Soccer Shorts are an additional $12. For player safety each player must have shin guards and soccer cleats. Soccer cleats are different from baseball/softball cleats. These items are inexpensive and can be purchased at several local stores. There is an exchange of used shin guards and cleats at Evaluations. Parents can check then for used items or bring in theirs.

VOLUNTEER:

Parents are invited to be team parents, coaches, or referees.

Practices begin the week of Monday, March 12, 2012

First Game - Saturday, March 31, 2012

There will not be any games the Saturday before Easter.
